Product Detail
Melamine tableware decals (also known as melamine decals or imitation porcelain decals) are high-temperature transfer stickers specifically designed for transferring exquisite patterns, text, or logos onto the surface of melamine tableware. They are the core material for decorating the appearance of melamine tableware.
Decal Process
1. Decal Pretreatment (Baking):Bake the printed decals in an oven for 7–8 hours to evaporate the ink binder and enhance adhesion.
2. Resin Application (Brushing):Evenly coat the printed surface of the decal with a layer of diluted melamine-formaldehyde resin (melamine powder) as an adhesive layer.
3. Second Drying:Dry the decals again after brushing to keep them dry.
4. Cutting (Trimping):Cut the decals to the appropriate size and shape according to the product.
5. High-Temperature and High-Pressure Fusion:Place the decal, pattern side down, on a plain melamine blank and place them together in a thermoforming machine. Hold under pressure for 20–35 seconds. The ink and resin layers fuse into the surface of the melamine tableware, forming a unified whole.
6. Polishing and Quality Inspection:Remove burrs, polish the surface, and check for clear, straight, and bubble-free patterns.
