Multi-Cavity Melamine Tableware Compression Mould, P20 Steel Hard Chrome Plated Melamine Dish Bowl Mold
Product Detail
The compression mold for melamine tableware is the "soul" of its production. Unlike ordinary injection molds that inject molten plastic into the mold cavity, it uses high temperature and pressure to allow melamine resin powder to solidify directly within the mold cavity.
Working Principle
The working process of a melamine compression mold can be divided into four steps:
1. Filling:The operator evenly places the weighed melamine resin powder into the mold cavity.
2. Mold Closure and Molding:The mold closes, and a hydraulic press applies high pressure (up to hundreds of tons), while a heating plate heats the mold to 150-200°C. Under high temperature and pressure, the raw material softens and flows, filling every corner of the mold cavity.
3. Pressure Holding and Curing:The pressure and temperature are maintained for a period of time (usually 40-80 seconds) to allow the melamine resin to fully cross-link and cure, becoming a hard finished product.
4. Demolding and Removal:After the mold opens, the ejector device ejects the molded tableware.
The key to this entire process is that melamine resin is a thermosetting plastic; once cured, it cannot be remelted. Therefore, the mold design directly determines the final shape of the product.
