Core Definition and Molding Mechanism
l Compression molding (or molding die-cutting) involves placing a measured amount of melamine molding powder into a preheated cavity. The upper mold moves downwards, applying pressure. Under conditions of 155–180°C and 12–20 MPa, the powder melts, flows, cross-links, and solidifies, while volatiles are expelled (requiring 1–2 venting cycles). Cooling and demolding result in irreversible hard tableware. The upper mold is typically 5–10°C higher than the lower mold to ensure uniform flow and curing.
l Applications: Common tableware such as bowls, plates, cups, and trays; complex patterns, two-color/insert products require a specially structured compression mold.

By Number of Cavities / Process:
1. Single-cavity/Multi-cavity Standard Compression Mold: High efficiency for mass production of universal bowls and plates;
2. Two-color/Multi-layer Compression Mold: Achieves white base with colored edges, requires two molding processes or rotation of the mold core;
3. Insert Compression Mold: For embedding logos and metal parts;
4. Transfer Compression Mold: Suitable for thin-walled, deep-cavity, and finely embossed products.
