Melamine tableware compression mold is a hot pressing mold specially used for molding thermosetting melamine resin (melamine). The core is to solidify powdery raw materials into finished tableware under high temperature and high pressure.
Core Working Principle
Melamine powder is a thermosetting material. The mold needs to be used with a melamine hydraulic press under specific conditions:
1. Feeding: A measured amount of melamine powder is added to the mold cavity.
2. Mold Closure and Heating: Heating rods/plates are built into the upper and lower molds, and the temperature is typically controlled between 160°C and 180°C.
3. High-Pressure Molding: The hydraulic press applies pressure, causing the powder to melt, flow, and solidify.
4. Pressure Holding and Cross-linking: Under high temperature and pressure, the material undergoes chemical cross-linking for tens of seconds to several minutes, solidifying into tableware.
5. Mold Opening and Ejection: The mold opens, and the finished tableware is ejected through the ejection mechanism.

l Number of Cavities: Single-cavity, multi-cavity (2-cavity, 4-cavity, 6-cavity); the higher the production volume, the more cavities are required.
l Mold Steel: P20, 718H (pre-hardened, wear-resistant, easy to polish).
l Surface Treatment (Determines the Texture of the Tableware):Glossy/Matt/Wood Grain/Texture
l Lifespan: High-quality molds can normally produce 300,000-1,000,000 cycles.
l Compatible Equipment: Must be matched with a dedicated melamine hydraulic press (100T-1000T).
