High Precision Customized Melamine Tableware Mould Hot Press Compression Mould for Melamine Plate Bowl Dinnerware
Product DetailMelamine tableware compression molds are the most common molding molds for melamine tableware, belonging to thermosetting compression molding: a fixed amount of melamine resin powder is poured into a heated cavity, and cross-linking and curing are completed under high pressure.
Production Process
l Feeding: Precisely weighed melamine powder is placed into the preheated lower mold cavity.
l Mold Closure and Pressure Application: The mold closes, and the upper mold compresses downwards. At this time, the immense pressure forces the powder to flow and fill every detail of the mold.
l Heating and Curing: The mold's built-in heating system precisely controls the temperature between 150-200°C. Under high temperature and pressure, the resin undergoes an irreversible cross-linking reaction, transforming from a soft plastic state to a hard solid state.
l Mold Opening and Part Removal: After curing, the mold cools, and the ejection mechanism smoothly pushes out the formed tableware.
Key Technologies and Material Selection
l Mold material: The choice of material directly affects the mold life and product cost.
1. Mold steel:
the most commonly used, such as P20 and 718H. They are high in strength, heat-resistant and wear-resistant, and can reach a hardness of HRC30-45 after heat treatment, making them suitable for mass production.
2. Surface treatment:
To improve mold performance, the cavity is often plated with hard chrome or nitrided to enhance wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and to make product demolding smoother.
l Mold types: Based on production requirements, molds are divided into single-cavity molds and multi-cavity molds (such as 6 cavities, 24 cavities or even more).
FAQ
Question1:What material is the mould made of?
P20/718
Question2:Can you customize moulds?
Yes, according to your design, size and logo.
Question3:Can you match with my melamine press machine?
Yes, we can make according to your machine parameter.
Question4:What products can you make?
Melamine plate, bowl, dish, tray, spoon, etc.
Question5:What should I do if there are air bubbles in the product?
This is usually caused by poor venting. The venting channels in the mold need to be checked and cleaned.
