Product Detail
Melamine tableware decals are decorative stickers applied to melamine tableware, primarily used to transfer designs onto the tableware surface. Their manufacturing process, production, and selection are all closely related to the quality and safety of the tableware.
Production process
(1)Design and Printing:The design is applied to specially made decals using offset printing (rich and delicate colors) or screen printing (high color saturation).
(2)Coating and Baking: A layer of transparent melamine resin is brushed onto the printed decals, which are then dried in a 70℃-100℃ oven to cure the ink and resin layer.
(3) Molding and Fusion: This is the most crucial step. The dried decals are cut and placed in a mold, covered with melamine raw material powder, and pressed into shape under high temperature and pressure at approximately 160℃. During this process, the resin layer on the decals fuses with the raw material powder, permanently sealing the design beneath the surface of the tableware, making it highly wear-resistant.

(1) Microwave and Oven Avoidance: Melamine tableware should never be heated in a microwave or placed in an oven.
(2) Avoid Extreme Conditions: It is not recommended to store excessively hot (above 120°C), oily, or acidic (such as vinegar or lemon juice) foods for extended periods.
(3) Gentle Cleaning: Use a soft cloth and neutral detergent to clean. Do not use steel wool or other hard objects to scrub, as this may damage the surface resin layer.
(4) Timely Replacement: Discontinue use immediately if the tableware shows obvious wear, severe staining, cracks, or peeling edges.
