Factory Direct Melamine Tableware Compression Mould with Hard Chrome Plating
Product Detail
Melamine tableware compression molds are precision molding molds used to compress melamine resin powder (melamine) into various tableware under high temperature and high pressure. They are the core components of melamine tableware production lines.
Mold Materials and Surface Treatment
l Common Steels
P20 / 718: Pre-hardened plastic mold steel, good polishability, versatile and economical.
l Key Surface Treatments
1. Mirror Polishing (Ra ≤ 0.8μm): Products have a porcelain-like shine and are easy to demold.
2. Hard Chrome Plating: High hardness, wear resistance, non-stick, extends lifespan, standard configuration.
3. Matte / Textured Finish: Creates special textures such as frosted and wood grain finishes.
Working Principle and Molding Process
1. Feeding: A measured amount of melamine resin powder is evenly sprinkled into the lower mold cavity.
2. Mold Closure and Pressurization: The hydraulic press closes the mold, applying high pressure while the mold is heated.
3. Curing and Molding: Under high temperature and pressure, the melamine powder melts, cross-links, and cures (typically 30 seconds to several minutes).
4. Mold Opening and Part Removal: The mold is opened to remove the finished product.
5. Post-processing: Deburring, polishing, and inspection.
