Melamine tableware decals (also known as melamine/imitation porcelain decals) are a special heat transfer printing material for melamine tableware. They allow plain melamine to be molded into beautiful, durable, and food-safe patterns.
Production and Lamination Process
1.Printing of decals → Baking at 70–100℃ to evaporate the binder (7–8 hours);
2.Applying a melamine resin coating and drying;
3.Plain melamine initial pressing → Precise decal application;
4.Secondary hot pressing (20–35 seconds, high temperature and high pressure) to fuse the decals with the substrate;
5.Applying glazing powder, pressing again, removing burrs, quality inspection, and polishing.
