The manufacturing process from "raw material powder" to "finished tableware"

Raw material powder → Weighing → Place in mold → High temperature (approximately 150-180℃) → High pressure (approximately several thousand tons of pressure) → Pressure holding and curing for several minutes → Demolding → Trimming → Finished product

The key point is that in the high-temperature and high-pressure mold, the melamine-formaldehyde prepolymer in the raw material powder will undergo a complete cross-linking reaction to form a stable, dense, insoluble and infusible three-dimensional network structure polymer—melamine-formaldehyde resin (melamine resin).

After the above raw materials are solidified and molded in a high-temperature and high-pressure mold, melamine tableware, which we commonly refer to, is obtained. It has the following characteristics:

•   Lightweight and drop-resistant: Not easily broken, more durable than ceramic and glass.

•   Aesthetically pleasing: It can be made in various colors and patterns, mimicking the texture of ceramics.

•   Good heat insulation: feels good to the touch and doesn't get hot.

•   Low cost: Suitable for large-scale use in restaurants, kindergartens, airline catering, and other similar settings.

FAQ 

Question1：Can tableware made from raw material powder be used to hold hot food?

Yes, but the temperature range needs to be controlled.

Tableware made from the raw material powder can withstand high temperatures of 120-150℃ for extended periods, and is perfectly fine for holding boiling water, hot soup, and hot dishes.

Avoid contact with open flames above 220℃ or direct placement in microwave ovens or ovens, as this may cause the resin to decompose and release harmful substances.

Question2：What is the relationship between melamine resin and "plastic"?

Melamine resin is a thermosetting plastic. Unlike ordinary plastic bags (thermoplastics), it cannot be melted and reshaped once it is formed. Therefore, it has the characteristics of high hardness, heat resistance and no deformation.

Question3：Can melamine tableware be put into the disinfection cabinet?

It can be placed in an ozone or ultraviolet disinfection cabinet, but not in a high-temperature infrared disinfection cabinet. Continuous high temperatures (usually over 120°C) will damage the structure of the melamine resin.

Question4：Is it possible to customize the color?

Question5：How are our products packaged?

Our products are packed with two layers. The outer layer is a kraft paper bag, and the inner layer is a plastic bag. This double-layer packaging ensures better protection and the safety of the products during transportation.
